Mark Pawsey MP has joined forces with leading energy company E.ON to make sure that people living in Rugby know how to check whether they could save themselves energy and money by making their homes more energy efficient.
Mark Pawsey MP will visit Royal Mail’s Rugby delivery office on Monday 6th December to see for himself how postmen and women in the area get Christmas sorted.
Rugby’s Member of Parliament, Mark Pawsey has been appointed to one of the House of Common’s influential Select Committees. Following a vote among Conservative Members of Parliament, Mark will be taking his place on the Committee looking at the work of the Department for Communities and Local Government.
Rugby MP Mark Pawsey once again raised the issue of Gypsy and Traveller sites at Westminster this week representing the views of the people of Rugby to the Prime Minister David Cameron during Wednesday’s Prime Minister’s Questions.
During a Westminster Hall debate in the House of Commons on 23rd November 2010 Mark Pawsey MP took the opportunity to consider the possible affect that high-speed rail could have on the west coast main line running through Rugby providing services to London and to Birmingham and the North West.
In September Mark Pawsey MP wrote to the Heads of all Primary Schools in his Constituency inviting pupils to design a Christmas card for entry into a competition for his card for 2010.
