Rugby MP Mark Pawsey has joined with 105 other MPs from the four largest political parties represented in the House of Commons and written to the Prime Minister urging a reduction in the amount of subsidy given to onshore wind.

Rugby MP Mark Pawsey has welcomed Government funding to build more affordable homes in Rugby. In the current year, the Government is providing an incentive to Rugby Borough Council for building New Homes in the form of a grant of £893,255 to be spent broadly across the Borough in addition to its budget.

In a debate in the House of Commons, Rugby MP Mark Pawsey has taken Network Rail to task on a number of the organization’s projects within Rugby. Mark highlighted the problem of increased noise on the railways following the upgrading of the West Coast Main Line, the overspend on the new Rugby station and issues relating to Network Rail’s involvement in the construction of the Western Relief Road.
