The first few weeks of 2021 have given all of us cause for renewed hope in the battle against coronavirus. The UK’s health regulator has now approved three vaccines for coronavirus – the Pzifer vaccine, the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine and the Moderna vaccine.
I am aware that some local residents have received letters from the national NHS to make appointments to receive the Covid vaccine. These relate to attending the closest regional vaccination hub in Birmingham and were sent to over 80s within a 45-mile radius of the centre of Birmingham.
