Rugby MP Mark Pawsey will be in Rugby’s ASDA store this Friday (11th November 2011) to talk to shoppers as they go about their everyday business. Keen to make himself available to constituents, Mark will be holding an ‘Open Surgery’ from 3pm for two hours.
Mark said:
“ASDA is very keen to open up the store to the local community by hosting events to support the population of Rugby. I welcomed the offer to use the cafe for another open surgery as it’s an ideal opportunity to talk to Constituents in a relaxed manner.”
Mark added:
“If anyone has any issues or concerns they would like to discuss with me in a more informal environment, they are welcome to come along and have a chat.”
If the Open Surgery proves to be successful, this may become a regular monthly feature, which Mark will do as well as his regular weekly surgeries at Age UK on Fridays.
