I know how important delivering the right services at Rugby's great Hospital of St Cross is as our town grows. Supporting our NHS is at the top of the Government's priorities and I will work to ensure that Rugby gets its fair share during this Parliament.
Tomorrow Parliament will meet on a Saturday for only the third time since the Second World War for what will be one of the most important votes in our nation’s history. This will be to give effect to the referendum of 2016 and set out the basis for the UK to leave the European Union.
A campaign to secure recognition for Second World War veterans who served in Japan and the Far East by commemorating the 75th Anniversary of Victory over Japan Day has been raised in Parliament by local MP Mark Pawsey.
Mark Pawsey MP has praised the great work of Rugby charity Futures Unlocked after they were awarded the Queen’s Voluntary Service Award and called on the Government to do more to help prisoners find work before they are released.
