Rugby MP Mark Pawsey visited the local laser cutting company Manufacturing Service Solutions Ltd. (MSS) at their headquarters in Rugby last week. MSS has become one of the largest independent sales and service centres in Europe within the laser industry, after expanding both domestically and internationally.
The Rugby-based company specialise in the service and supply of high-quality refurbished laser cutting machines and their own nitrogen generation equipment. MSS Lasers have recently invested into the fiber laser cutting machines which provide a more cost effective and environmentally-friendly nitrogen supply rather than the more mature CO2 laser technology.
Mark said:
“I am delighted that a local company such as MSS Lasers has been able to thrive in Rugby. The company employs one of the largest independent service and support teams in the UK, and I am keen to encourage and support local businesses in my constituency like MSS that provide such great employment opportunities to the local community.”
Mark added:
“MSS Lasers are well known for their expertise in laser and nitrogen generation technology, however the local company have now recently invested into the highly efficient Eagle range of fiber laser cutting machines, which require 75% less energy than the traditional CO2 laser technology.”
Mark concluded:
“This Government is on the side of small local businesses thanks to our long-term economic plan for the country businesses like MSS have been able to grow and prosper.”
