Two lucky winners will see their designs on one of this year’s 1st or 2nd Class Christmas stamps. This is the first competition of its kind in over 30 years so Mark is keen that as many Rugby children as possible take part in it.
The theme is ‘what does Christmas mean to you?’ and is open to children aged between 4 and 11 years and there are also other prizes for the winners and their schools. Closing date for entries is the 19th July 2013.
Mark said:
“I really hope that our children here in Rugby embrace this competition and I encourage all parents and teachers to get help get them involved.”
Mark added:
“This is an amazing opportunity to have a design used as part of the Christmas stamp collection and of course the winning designs will have to be approved by Her Majesty the Queen!”
Mark concluded:
“Money cannot buy the prizes on offer in this competition so I hope as many children as possible take part and I wish them all the very best of luck.”
