Mark joins Parliamentary colleagues to raise awareness of the Sport Relief Mile
On a bright and sunny day last Wednesday, 14th March, Mark Pawsey MP took to the streets around Westminster with around 75 other Members of Parliament and ran the ‘Westminster Mile’ in aid of Sport Relief.
Mark said:
“This was an excellent way of getting Members of Parliament to try and raise awareness of the Sport Relief Mile which is taking place all around the country this Sunday.”
Mark continued:
“It was really enjoyable to run in the Spring sunshine along The Mall, and I hope that this might encourage and inspire others to take part.”
Mark concluded:
“I’ll also be joining in with the first mile at 10.00am this Sunday here in Rugby, and it will be great to have a good turn-out here in the Constituency to raise funds for Sport Relief.”
