Local MP Mark Pawsey has welcomed the government’s commitment to help small businesses in Rugby by cutting National Insurance contributions.
The National Insurance Contributions Bill recently announced by the Queen will introduce a National Insurance employment allowance of £2,000 reducing the cost of employment and supporting small businesses aspiring to grow and recruit.
Mark said:
“The government is intent on continuing its good work to re-build our economy and this news will be welcomed by small businesses here in Rugby.”
Mark continued:
“Having run a small business here in Rugby I know the impact of the contribution that employers have to make to National Insurance when they take on new staff.”
Mark concluded:
“In Rugby 1330 employers will benefit from the introduction of a National Insurance employment allowance of £2,000. This will provide vital support for small, local, businesses and will create jobs for local people.”
