Rugby MP Mark Pawsey welcomed two groups to London recently as members of the Rugby Wives’ Fellowship and Mayday Trust visited Westminster to find out more about how Parliament works.
Speaking after the visits Mark said:
“I was delighted to welcome the Rugby Wives’ Fellowship and Mayday Trust to Parliament. I always thoroughly enjoy meeting local organisations and Rugby residents in Westminster and I hope that they found their time in Westminster equally as enjoyable.”
Elizabeth Hall of the Rugby Wives’ Fellowship said:
“Rugby Wives’ Fellowship had a most enjoyable and interesting visit to the Houses of Parliament courtesy of Mark Pawsey.
We were most impressed with the tour and delighted to see where the country is run from.
The group were particularly delighted that Mark took time out of his busy schedule to meet with us and explain in more detail how Parliament works.”
