Mark Pawsey MP has again written to the Head Teachers of all Primary Schools in his Constituency inviting pupils to enter a competition to design his Christmas card for 2013.
Having received more than 100 entries last year, Mark had a tough decision in choosing a winner.
The winner’s prize will be a visit to Westminster, where he or she and their family are to be treated to a tour of the Houses of Parliament and ‘Tea on the Terrace’. The card with the winning design will be printed and sent out to a variety of local organisations during December.
Mark said
“I’ve been really impressed with the quality and the amount of entries I’ve received in previous years. I’ve written to all of the Primary Schools again and invited pupils to submit their artwork to my office by Friday 8th November 2013.”
He continued:
“With the half-term holiday fast approaching this might be when there is time to draw something creative and I’m looking forward to seeing some colourful designs from the children of Rugby! It is always a hard decision and I know that this year will be no easier.”
