On Friday 14th June Rugby MP Mark Pawsey visited local charity Assist Trauma Care to learn more about the valuable work they do and the services they provide across England and Wales.
Mark said:
“It was very interesting to find out about the great work that Assist Trauma Care provide, not only to the people of Rugby, but to people all across England and Wales. I was particularly impressed to learn about the great support they provide to the young people of Rugby through their connections with several schools in the area.”
Assist Trauma Care have recently begun providing support to the families and victims of homicides across England and Wales through funding provided by the Government, and their work is vital in helping victims come to terms with the ordeals they have faced.
Mark concluded:
“It is good to know that here in Rugby we have such excellent facilities to help those who are suffering from issues related to trauma. Assist Trauma Care provide an outstanding service and I welcomed the opportunity to see how they have progressed since I last visited several years ago not long after first being elected as MP for Rugby.”
