Mark Pawsey MP has today pledged his support for the Long Live the Local Campaign to help pubs in Rugby keep their doors open. Mark joins the more than 100,000 people who have signed the petition so far, including 190 in Rugby.
MPs from across party lines have called on the Government to provide greater support to early years childcare providers such as Pathfinders Day Nursery in Rugby during a Parliamentary debate attended by local MP Mark Pawsey.
The World Rugby Hall of Fame was praised as ‘one of the many excellent attractions in the United Kingdom’ by Sports and Culture Minister Michael Ellis MP after local MP Mark Pawsey asked how the Government is helping to promote sporting tourism throughout the UK.
During Justice Questions, Mark raised the important work of local charity Futures Unlocked and the success they have working with ex-offenders to reduce re-offending rates and help people turn their life around.
