Rugby and Bulkington MP Mark Pawsey met local farmers in Parliament last week and backed a campaign that highlights the farming, food and drink industry’s contribution to the economy, jobs, the environment and communities.
Hinckley & Rugby Building Society welcomed Rugby MP Mark Pawsey to its branch on North Street to learn about its contribution to the town’s community. Whilst there he opened a savings account for his first grandchild, who was born in May.
Local MP Mark Pawsey joined Houlton residents, developers Urban&Civic and teachers from the Transforming Lives Education Trust for the unveiling of the new secondary school, which will welcome new students by 2021.
At Defence Questions on 20 May 2019 the Minister for Defence Procurement, Stuart Andrew MP, confirmed that after months of hard work the electric drive motors for the new Type 26 frigates will be made at GE in Rugby.
