Return My DNA!

It is my strong personal belief that current Home Office policy is intrusive, damaging to policing, and illegal - innocent people should not be on the DNA database indefinitely. Please help the Conservative Party to reverse this by joining our campaign: http://www.myconservatives.com/campaigns/return-my-dna
One of the higher profile events of 2008 was the arrest of Damian Green, the Conservative Shadow Minister for Immigration for exposing damning failures within the Home Office. This arrest was not just unjustified but also lead to an innocent man having his DNA put on a database. We at the Conservative Party feel this is wrong, and have launched a campaign in order to ensure that innocent people do not have their DNA taken without reason by an increasingly Big Brother Government.
Damian Green MP won the battle to have his DNA profile removed. Conservatives want to build on this small but significant victory.
We all want an effective police force, and the support of the public is vital to their work. It is imperative that the police remove the DNA of the one million innocent people on the database: Join our campaign to return it.
