Rugby & Bulkington MP Mark Pawsey presents the Volunteer Centre Nuneaton and Bedworth their 2014 Lloyds Bank Community Fund.
Last Friday Rugby and Bulkington MP Mark Pawsey presented a cheque for £1000 to the Volunteer Centre Nuneaton and Bedworth which had been awarded from the 2014 Lloyds Bank Community Fund.
The 2014 Lloyds Bank Community Fund is aimed to help local communities and local good causes, and was decided by a vote cast between the 2nd September and the 10th October.
Speaking after the meeting Mark said:
“It is fantastic that the Volunteer Centre have been awarded a £1000 grant acknowledging their hard work in our local community. The Volunteer Centre provide information, support and organise events for the elderly, and it is great to see a local branch doing so well.”
Mark continued:
“This grant will enable the Bulkington’s branch of the Volunteer Centre to continue to provide the high-level of service they have been recognised for. The funding will help to continue to offer events for the local community, mobility aids, and the many other services to support those in Rugby and Bulkington.”
Mark concluded:
“I am very pleased that Lloyds Bank Community Fund has recognised the hard work and vital role of the Volunteer Centre in Bulkington. The Lloyds Bank Community Fund is a great project which provides a positive impact for local good causes.”
