The Benn Partnership Centre will again this year be hosting a free Christmas Day event for members of our community who are disadvantaged or alone.
Each year local MP Mark Pawsey helps arrange for free crackers and festive tableware from Bunzel UK and was delighted to be able to show his support the event again this year.
Mark said:
“It’s important at Christmas to ensure that everyone is able to join with friends to celebrate the occasion.”
Mark continued:
“I am pleased that Benn Partnership Centre is once again providing a Christmas Lunch and I’m grateful to Bunzl UK for providing crackers and festive tableware.”
Mark is joined in the accompanying photograph by volunteers from the Benn Partnership and Joyce Woodings of Rugby Welfare Charities who have kindly donated £250 to help fund the event.
The event will be from 10.30am to 4pm on Thursday 25th December is free and will consist of games, films, a three course meal (Turkey/ Vegetarian option) and with lots of fun for everyone.
The Benn Partnership Centre is situated in Rugby, on the corner of Railway Terrace and Craven Road.
