Rugby MP Mark Pawsey recently met with Dan Elliott of the Strachan Football Foundation and Sue Heyes from the Heart of England Foundation to learn how local youngsters are being supported through their FA coaching badges.
Mark learnt more about how a grant from the Heart of England Foundation will help the organisation support local youngsters pursue careers in football.The grant will assist young people as they work towards their FA coaching qualifications.
Mark said:
“I was delighted to meet with Sue Heyes to learn more about how the Heart of England Community Foundation was helping Dan and the Strachan Football Foundation provide opportunities for young people within my constituency.”
Mark added:
“I have seen first-hand the excellent work Dan and his team are doing for young people locally and how much they welcomed the assistance from Heart of England.”
Mark concluded:
“The money provided will enable more young people to have the opportunity to pursue a career within sport and I fully support the work that is being done.”
