Mark Pawsey MP has recently met with the Warwickshire 30th Signal Regiment at Westminster, along with fellow MP Marcus Jones, the Member of Parliament for Nuneaton.

Mark Pawsey MP, together with other Warwickshire MP's met with the Federation of Small Businesses on Friday 17th July and has joined them in trying to keep trade local and support small and medium sized businesses.

 

21st July 2010

Mark Pawsey MP is now looking for a Caseworker to work at the Constituency Office in Rugby, to start in September 2010.

On Sunday 4th July Mark Pawsey MP was invited to open the annual Pailton Summer Fete. This is an important event in the village and Mr Pawsey was pleased to have been able to take part in this charitable event.

Mark Pawsey MP meets regularly with his colleagues from Warwickshire to discuss the important issues that will face the local area over the next few years.

 

Mark Pawsey MP said: "It is important that Members of Parliament work together in order to best tackle the concerns of local people and focus on the vital task of restoring our local economies and ensuring that we can get Britain back on its feet. The local links between backbench MP's, many of us having fought the election campaign together, are a vital part of the role we undertake at Westminster."

Mark Pawsey MP made his maiden speech on 8th June 2010 at 6.40pm during the Debate on the Address, where he paid tribute to former Members from Rugby and spoke about the future growth of Rugby and the challenges and rewards that this will bring.

We are now just 72 hours to polling day and it is clear that as it gets closer more people are deciding that now is the time for change. David Cameron has set out very clearly how our country will move forward under  a Conservative government. Our contract with voters which promises  a no-frills, no-nonsense commitment to do certain specific things in exchange for people’s vote.  With trust in politics at an all time low, and people tired of politicians breaking their promises, we are saying clearly in this contract; “If we don’t do these things, if we don’t deliver our side of the bargain: vote us out in five years time.”

On April 20th, Conservative Party Candidates took part in a National Social Action Day, showing how many Conservatives are actively involved in their local community. Here in Rugby, Mark Pawsey launched his latest appeal for his Football shirts campaign to send to Rwanda.

Shadow Justice Minister Dominic Grieve made a visit to Rugby yesterday in order to view with Mark Pawsey the important local work done by voluntary groups and Conservative Councillors in the Brownsover area.
